Hi! I’m Jamee, the Activity Director at The Grand. I absolutely love what I do—creating fun, meaningful, and engaging programs for our residents is truly my passion. I’ve been designing activities for over 15 years now, and while I started out in public library programming, my path took a more personal turn a few years ago.
After my grandpa passed away, I had the chance to spend a lot of time with my granny. That experience really opened my heart to senior care, and I realized just how important it is to bring joy, connection, and purpose into the golden years. That’s when I knew this was what I was meant to do.
I believe in resident-centered programming—making sure we offer a wide variety of activities like arts and crafts, music, games, and social events that really speak to each person’s interests and personality. There’s nothing better than seeing someone light up during an activity that truly resonates with them.
When I’m not spending time with my best friends at The Grand, I’m usually with my husband and my son—my two favorite guys. They keep me grounded, laughing, and inspired every day
